Exploring "Sexual Mechanisms" After the Deluge of Images and the Popularization of Imaging Devices
After individuals are immersed in a vast amount of imagery and imaging devices become widespread, their sexuality and desires are increasingly influenced by media. We rely on our projections to achieve gratification, and these projected images come from imaging devices and media. Therefore, whether one engages in solitary acts, acts facing imaging media, or acts with another person, our projections and feedback are always a result of media influence. One can't help but wonder how much autonomy we truly possess over our sexuality and desires.
From self-stimulation using a camcorder (Video Masturbation) to a fetish for imaging devices (Feedback); from images as sexual objects for projecting desire, to the self-awareness of human nature's gradual impotence to stimulation (Rise Up, Rise Up, Rise Up); ultimately, even individual sexuality is only re-presented within camcorders and televisions (Close-Up).
探討接受大量影像洗禮和影像機器大眾化後的「性機制」：
接受大量影像洗禮和影像機器大眾化之後的人們，其性愛與慾望愈來愈受媒体的影響，我們依靠我們的投射來達到滿足，而投射的影像則來自影像機器和媒体，所以不管你一個人作，面對影像媒体作或是二個人作，我們的投射與回饋都是影像影響下的結果。不禁懷疑對性愛與慾望我們究竟有多少自主性？
從以錄影機進行自慰〈錄影自慰〉到對影像機器的癖戀〈回饋〉、從影像作為慾望投射的性對象，到對刺激逐漸陽萎的人性自覺〈站起來，站起來，站起來〉，最後連個體的性愛都只再現在錄影機與電視之中〈特寫〉。
一組錄放影機、電視及推架，安置於表演現場的角落，電視的畫面面向觀眾，推架後有一把背向觀眾的椅子，椅子前的地上放著一個小型顯示器。
表演者面對角落坐在椅子上，手中的錄影機將攝入的影像分別播映於二台電視上。他打開錄影機，慢慢地把機器放入他的衣服和褲子裏，用它愛撫、揉壓、摩擦、震動他的身體，透過電視機、錄影機肌膚特寫的影像和麥克風與肉體、衣服摩擦的音響傳向現場觀眾。終於，影像的晃動和摩擦的音量逐漸地升高，在摹擬的高潮來臨時，表演者蓋住鏡頭，停止不動，電視陷入漆黑沈寂。最後，他走出角落面對觀眾，用錄影機一個一個地拍攝現場觀眾的臉，照到最後一位時，電視螢幕淡出成黑色。
