Measuring the Distance from My P.S.1 Studio to the Court House Square 7 Subway Station.
Performance Process: Measured the distance by smoking and exhaling cigarette smoke. Starting at the studio doorway, a cigarette was lit, smoked, and the smoke exhaled. An assistant used a duster as a marker to indicate the distance of each exhalation. The length of each exhalation was termed a "puff of smoke." At the endpoint of the first puff, the second cigarette was inhaled and exhaled, and this action continued forward. Each time a cigarette was finished, the next one was lit until the subway station was reached.
Measurement Result: After consuming 11 cigarettes, the distance measured from the P.S.1 studio to the Court House Square 7 Subway Station was 269 "puffs of smoke."
測量我在P.S.1的工作室到七號地鐵車站Court House Square的距離。
行為過程：用抽香菸、噴煙的方式測量這段距離，以工作室的門口為起點，點燃香菸，吸菸，噴出煙，助手以一撢子做標竿，標示出每一噴煙的距離，每一噴煙的長度稱為一個「噴煙」。在第一口煙的終點處，吸、噴第二口煙，持續這個動作向前進，每用完一根香菸，就在點燃下一根香菸，直到抵達地鐵車站。
測量結果：在耗11根香菸後，測量出自P.S.1工作室到七號地鐵車站Court House 的距離是269個「噴煙」。
