Silently recite poems,
Write calligraphy without a brush,
Let a moistened brush dry up,
Soak inksticks without grinding them,
Leave paperweights idle, never pressing paper,
Never mount finished paintings.
You ask: Why?
I reply: A small boat cannot carry the heart; expressing my feelings in silence is enough.
