Inspired by Pyotr Ilyich Tchaikovsky's Violin Concerto in D major, Opus 35, the 〈Lines of Music〉 series explores the spatial qualities of its string sections. These string parts feel like lines spiraling within space. I translate these musical strings into visual lines, where their interweaving and superimposition delineate temporal and spatial sequences and hierarchies. The negative spaces between these lines are either filled with subtle background brushwork or left untouched, creating a more complex layering. This sense of spatial relationship between the lines diverges from the conventional spatial understanding of fixed-point perspective. I intentionally leave every brushstroke distinct, with no softened edges or blurred marks.

《樂音的線條》系列啟發自柴可夫斯基的作品《D大調 小提琴協奏曲 作品35號》(P. I. Tchaikovsky, Violin Concerto in D major, Op. 35)。
