On the plaza in front of the Bren Events Center, the American flag flew high on its flagpole. The performer entered the plaza and walked towards the flagpole, all the while gazing upwards at its top. He then circled the flagpole, his eyes still fixed on its summit. Later, he paused, approached the flagpole, and braced his leg against the pole, striving to raise it higher and higher. He moved around the pole, experimenting with different positions, doing his utmost to lift his leg to the highest point he could reach. With persistent attempts, he finally managed to raise his leg above his head. He embraced the flagpole with both hands, remaining in this struggling, static posture for a long time. Then, urine trickled from his crotch, soaking the ground. Finally, the performer lowered his leg, removed his upper garment, used it to tie up his wet crotch, and departed from the plaza.

"Confronting Frustration from Mainstream Culture and Contention with Authority"

During my studies abroad, facing the frustration brought on by mainstream culture and the contention with authority finally culminated in an outburst, leading to the use of violence as the final strike in a series of performances.
