Overview

“Taipei Art Awards” is an important stage on which Taiwan contemporary artists can demonstrate their abilities and shine as stars. Competition is held annually, encouraging applications from artists, whose work profoundly embraces the spirit of contemporary art and individualistic style. This award is advised by Taipei City Government, organize by Taipei City Government Department of Culture Affairs, and operated by Taipei Fine Arts Museum. This year we’ve attracted 366 artists to participate, and through art museum’s professional judges and exhibition system, several artists have outstandingly and successfully stood out from their competitors. Their works are shown at the museum, sharing with the public their creativity, explosive imagination, and thus displaying Taipei city’s spirit and energy.
