Shi Jin-Hua: Mind Set Art Center

16 August - 20 September 2025
Overview

Mind Set Art Center is honored to present "Shi Jin-Hua," the second inaugural exhibition celebrating the gallery’s 15th anniversary, opening on August 16, 2025.

This special exhibition serves as a tribute to the late artist Shi Jin-Hua, commemorating his extraordinary life and career following his untimely passing in the summer of 2024. The curated selection provides a comprehensive survey of Shi’s most significant works championed by the gallery over the past 15 years.

The exhibition features his iconic Pen Walking series and the seminal work Pencil Walker. It also highlights pieces that masterfully integrate the concepts of "walking" and "measurement," including Art Today, One Thousand Days, and Insulin Journey—October 2019. Furthermore, the showcase includes his later Oil and Tube series, a body of work in which the artist found profound joy and meditative peace. A highlight of the exhibition is the rare public debut of several "Pen Walking" masterpieces, generously on loan from private collections after being held for over a decade.
