The artist's home was located in the Kaohsiung gas explosion disaster area on July 31, 2014. He was greatly impacted after the incident. For this, he began drawing horizontal lines on paper with fountain pens, bamboo pens, and fountain pen ink. Through the focused and singular strokes, he gradually stabilized and calmed his inner self, thereby navigating through this shock and crisis.
