Shi Jin-Hua, Scribbling Textbook - Art Today, 1998-2006
高雄獎是台灣藝壇備受矚目也是新秀展露頭角的舞台。2007高雄獎為提升參賽品質，特別取消對價典藏高雄獎得主作品，以純獎金鼓勵美術創作。除了實質獎勵，2007高雄獎亦規劃了完善的評審辦法。以創作媒才分類項初審，邀請觀察員一名全程參與初審工作，再參與不分類的複審。歷經一天半嚴謹、充分討論的複審程序慎重產生出高雄獎， 2007高雄獎得主是已活躍在美術界的石晉華、新世代的蘇育賢、賴珮瑜、林慶芳、莊宗勳等五人。
